156-163 MHz
Marine VHF
AIS vessel positions on two channels, working channels and calling voice, and the NOAA Weather Radio alerts at the top of the band.
AIS at 161.975 and 162.025 MHz puts vessels on the map with identity, course and destination, and WaveShark reads both channels from one span rather than making you choose.
Just above them sit the seven NOAA Weather Radio channels, where a SAME header carries the whole of an alert, its counties and its expiry, in machine-readable form before the announcer says a word.

- AISVessel positions and identity on the same map as the aircraft, off the two AIS channels at once.
- EAS and SAMEAlert headers off the seven NOAA Weather Radio channels: the event, the counties it covers and how long it lasts.
Every band, one receiver.
The decoders do not follow the dial: everything inside the span runs all the time.
